Bio: Ian Down first started his music journey playing bass and singing in punk rock outfit "Shotdown". Shotdown Formed in 1998, went strong for many years and is the founder of Longwood Productions( Long Beach show Promoter for Punk Rock). Since then, Ian Joined AF Records Punk Band Destruction Made Simple and now to his current band,Hollywood's own White Flag Down as well as finishing his first Solo Record. Playing bass in these great bands as well as playing for some of LA's best musicians in all genres across the board in the studio and on stage.    Just as important as performing, Ian fell in love with the creative process in making those tunes in not just his own music. Ian has just as much passion in other artists work as his own. Now Ian Down the Producer/Engineer is born. Ian First started his recroding Carreer in 2001 assistant to JIm Hill of White Wall Audio who showed Ian the Ropes in Analogue and Digital Recordings. Ian then moved on to work with  Punk Rock Record Producer Philco Raves of Mystic Records  at Downtown Sound Studios in LA.  Ian is now one of two Radio Show Hosts on the very popular Rebel Radio, and Owner of Hollywoods own SkR Studios located in the Heart of Hollywood.  Ian is a Musicians Institute Graduate and is Protools Certified and Fluent in Logic on top of years experience and Passion in his craft.
